Mid Island Golfers Foundation of New York

Mid Island Golfers Foundation, a 501C3 is actively involved in supporting youth in the community through academic scholarships and golfing endeavors.

Mid Island Golfers Foundation of New York, Inc (MIGFNY) is the fund raising arm of Mid Island Golf Club
(MIGC) founded in 2011 by Michael Taylor and Brenton Esty. MIGFNY is a not for profit 501c3,
organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, to make the sport of Golf more accessible
to children in the New York Metropolitan Area. Therefore MIG Club/Foundation fosters the
following programs:  1) Scholarships based on funds raised  2) The First Tee National School program for PS195 in Rosedale and  3) Golf Clinics.

This year given the Pandemic we supported Local Food Banks in the community to the tune of over
8,000 dollars. As a member of MIGC/MIGFNY , I found it gratifying to play golf, which I am passionate
about, and at the same time give back to the Community. This upcoming year (2021) Mid Island Golf Club
will be 60 Years Old we hope to have a great year to showcase our achievements and set new goals.
With all of that said if you are interested in learning how to play golf, or you are looking to play with a
Club join us call 516-668-1171. Also if you are looking to support the programs mentioned above Zell
