2015 Scholarship Recipients
Jonathan Carrera graduated from Hempstead High School, Hempstead, New York with Honors and a 3.5 GPA. He plans to continue his education, majoring in Math and Science. His ultimate goal is to become renown for Stem Cell Research. He attends Nassau Community College.

Gerald Cordova is a graduate of Nassau Community College, where he double majored in Computer Science and Accounting with a GPA of 3.8. Gerald currently attends the University of North Carolina, Greensboro majoring in Computer Science. His ultimate goal is to become a Computer Engineer and Software Designer.

Aiseosa Irowa graduated from Hempstead High School, Hempstead, New York with Honors. She attends Drexel University majoring in Biology. Her ultimate goal to to become a Primary Care Physician.

Taiquim Johnson is attending Delaware State University, Taiquim is majoring in Sports Management and has a 3.3 GPA. He plans to continue his education, ultimately pursuing a degree in Law and becoming a Sports Attorney.

Ashley Lucas returns as a Mid Island Scholarship winner. She is majoring in Biology and is on the Dean's List at George Mason University. She has a 3.5 GPA and plans to continue her education with emphasis on the medical field. Her ultimate goal is to become a Pediatrician.
